Self-priming Peripheral Pump

Self-priming Peripheral Pump is a type of self-priming water pump. It transports liquid by exchanging momentum of three-dimensional flow of liquid in the flow channel through the rotating impeller blades. The working principle of this pump is that the rotation of the impeller makes the liquid in the flow channel produce a circumferential speed less than the circumferential speed of the impeller. The liquid is thrown from the impeller groove into the flow channel under the action of centrifugal force, and then decelerated under the action of shear force between liquids, transferring energy to the liquid in the flow channel. While the impeller groove throws out the original liquid, the internal pressure decreases, thereby sucking the liquid in the flow channel into the groove. The characteristics of the Self-priming Peripheral Pump include simple structure, small size, light weight, and self-priming ability or self-priming with the help of simple devices. It is suitable for conveying clean liquids without solid particles with a viscosity of less than 15°E. The working principle and structure of this pump enable it to start without external water diversion, that is, it has self-priming ability, which is a significant difference from other types of pumps.
